Hi guys,

I'd like to ask you something.

When designing an amplifier, for example, a common-source, to do the calculations, what values should I use for W/L and un and Cox? Where can I find those?

Kind regards.

There is a great method using gm/ID gm/Cgs where by defiing the Opamp specifications you can optimize its parameters:
F. Silveira, D. Flandre, and P. G. Jespers, "A (gm/ID) based methodology for the design of cmos analog circuits and its application to the synthesis of a silicon-on-insulator micropower OTA," IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, vol. 31, no. 9, pp. 1314-1319, Sept. 1996.
