Hi

I am currently looking for a helical antenna that can operat in the frequency range 160 MHz to 200MHz(similar to those used for walkie talkie). I looking for one that is small preferrable below 15 cm and have as good gain. I would appreciate it if anyone provide any recommendation. Also may i know also what in general is the gain for an antenna at such frequency.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: VHF Antenna

I think you will very hardly get some gain 15 cm is 0.09 lambda...

"small preferrable below 15 cm and have as good gain":
small and gain do not agree to each other.
