Design Monopole feed in HFSS

hi,

I am trying to design a monopole with a ground plane next to it. Could anyone please advise which would be the best position to place the lumped port? the feed pin (in the direction of fed current) or the gap between the ground and the pin? The port in between would not reflect the actual scenario though i believe.
