I m new at this place , I want to develop my own Embedded system based on TMS320C6711 , i have already done much of work but , i m problem how to communicate my board with CCS IDe and how to program its sdram .

HI friend .. The best ways is to use a XDS510pp emulator .. Do a search at ELECKTRODA you will find some projects to make the emulator ..
The only thing hard to find is the TI TAP .. .But it can be obtained ..
I have a 6711 eval board from Ti and the board has the emulator built in
.
So you will find all the schematics and even an EPLD core to implement the parallel port !

in ccs, u need to have a command file .cmd
,which will allocate program/data to the assigned memory.
from memory map, u will know where is sdram.

i have the same problem - i have this TI 6712 chip and can't figure out how to program it ?

I have some newe designs in the DSP Projects but the main thing is the development of the board
