Hi tpetar
what type of batterry do u suggest that we be 0k, am try to change to 2x12v duty cycle battery with 200AH
You dont have appropriate battery bank for 1,5KW and battery voltage bank is not good for that power.
This is theoretical calc :
200Ah / 24V = 63A
200Ah / 63 = 3,17h (battery bank should not be discharge faster then 10h. If you use deep cycle then C/20).
Your battery bank is for max 500W.
500W / 24V = 21A
200Ah / 21A = 9,53h
We speak about 200Ah of fresh and new battery.
People often neglect the most important things in such systems.
You have bad designed system or plan to have. Even in case of 400Ah batteries this is bad. Appropriate voltage of system is very important. Respect battery capacity and capabilities, and use manufacturers data for reference.
Two types of batteries :
Starter lead acid - Discharge max 30% for longer life (30% capacity for cycling) C/10, and capacity is given for C/10.
Deep Cycle lead acid - Can be discharged completely to 10,5V, but max current is C/20, and capacity is given for C/20.
