Hey guys, I just got my assignment ... the task is to design a harmonic oscillator with :

Frequency of oscillation = 1 kHz
Amplitude of oscillation = 5 Vp

any idea to do it ??? thanks

Yes, many ,any ideas.
There are many circuit alternatives for oscillator circuits available. It makes no sense to list them here. Try a textbook or internet search to select one topology that siuts your needs. Then you can ask again some specific questions here.
At first, become familiar with the concept of harmonic oscillation (Barkhausen condition and amplitude control).
