Deploy a windows xp embedded image to a Flash card

Í am installing Windows XP Embedded in a Flash Card. I have built the image and it´s ready to be used, but I don´t know how make it bootable. I have read in Help that I must use the BootPrep.exe, but I run it and apply on my flash card and then the system doesn´t initialize, it says "Disk error". How can I make it bootable?
