delays in the 8051 microcontroller

Am doin a project that is involving the 8051 microcontroller to run a fire alarm system. I have finished the program and on simulation using proteus the sytem is working so well but when it comes to prototype there is some delays in sending the alarm buzzer sound. Help out!
