hi to everybody.....
define low power consumption (for lpc 23xx using ARM7 processor )
low power consumption (for lpc 23xx using ARM7 processor ) means what ?

Hi,
Low power consumption means it will consume low power when operating, ie, it will draw low power to operate. So, when you have a fixed voltage, this means, you will need a low current for the device to operate. The exact current consumptions should be listed in the datasheet.

The advantage of low power consumption is - your battery should last longer. You can lower power consumption even more by using sleep/power-down modes when required.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

You should also look into the Cortex-M3 devices. These are the newest generation of the ARM7 product tier and the ISA is backwards compatible. The lowest power devices I've seen on the market recently are from Energy Micro - www.energymicro.com
