ddr1 termination
hi.
where to put teh series terminations on the DDR1 memory-bus? and why?
On an AMD design guide, they say:
-parallel terminated topology: put Rs close to the mem.
-without parallel termination: put Rs close to the CPU
why?
i dont understand, why it is good to put Rs close to the mem. the mem modules have Rs on them.
