***** I am desperate **********

I am simulating (HFSS) an antenna working at 2.4 GHz (in its environment) and there is some DC voltage source to be included around the antenna

Any idea on how to include a DC voltage source in HFSS simulation?
keeping in mind that I want the sweep frequency to be 2 to 3 GHz

Thanks

It makes no sense to include the DC voltage. It has no effect on the 2.4GHz results. These EM simulators do a linear analysis, where all frequencies can be analyzed separately.

If you think that the DC layout has an effect at 2.4GHz, include that layout and replace the "DC source" with the corresponding impedance at 2.4GHz (approximate short? approximate open?)

Thanks a lot , volker_muehlhaus

I am guessing that the corresponding impedance of the (DC source) at 2.4 GHZ would be approximate open circuite

Am I right?

I don't know your circuit, but it's possibly some high impedance. In case of doubt, you can try both open and short and see if there is any difference.
