DC-to-DC converter

Hi everybody!

I own an Icom IC90E and don't want to buy its cigarette lighter socket adapter CP-19E... could someone help with any schematic of something similar??

You could find its specs all over the internet with ease.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Ciao

Re: DC-to-DC converter

Could you please post the specs yourself?

Re: DC-to-DC converter

HI

The specs are:

voltage supplied in the range 5:11V never exceed 11.5V
The input should be a regulated 12V DC

Current drain @8.0V DC will be 2.0A maximum while transmitting
and 300mA while receiving

I wanted to use a 7808 fixed voltage regulator... but any other idea is welcome.

DC-to-DC converter

Use LM2576
It's datasheet and circuit is:
