In 802.11a/b/g WLAN transceiver direct convertion TX/RX are commonly used. Direct conversion system needs DC offset calibration and LO leakage and I/Q imbalance calibration to ensure the transceiver performance. Some of these calibrations will be done when power-up. Some of them will be done in each transmite or receiver frame. Can anyone tell me when of each calibration will done? and what's the time limiting to finish each calibration?

Regards,
hm
