hi
if any of you friends have designed or implemented a boost converter ,please help me in the following
over current protection beside fuses
over votage protection
short circuit protection at the output

best regards

Hi

I have done this using a micro controller

Over voltage protection - use a zener diode to short the FB input when breakdown

Over current - you can measure the current via a current sense resistor and add it to the feedback loop or trigger a uc interrupt

The same for short circuit

All the best

Bobi

hi
could you supply me with some documents on the feedback loop design becuase until know i am using open loop concept .

if you supply me with you circuit design , since i have studied the things you said before and willing to implement them

thanks

try to look for voltage regulators with over current protection, those circuits theoretically may help your design
