Hello,
I'am searching for a voltage multiplier that boosts 2-2,5 volts to anything between 5v and 12v. Note that it has to be able to handle 500 ma (600 ma peak)

Regards Cecemel

The function is called boost converter. You can use the part selector tools of major manufacturers like TI or Linear to identify suitable converter ICs.

By nature of a voltage converter, it's efficiency will be below unity, e.g. 0.8 - 0.9. This means to get 12 V/600 mA output, you need to supply an input current of 4A at 2V which must be handled by the power source, e.g. a battery.

What does "anything between 5v and 12v" mean?

I mean that the output can be anything between 5 and 12v (5v, 6v, 7v, 8v, 9v, 10v, 11v and 12v

Hi,

This sounds like a random voltage generator.... ;-)

As FvM said, just use a switch to select different resistors at feedback fir different output voltages.
