hi

I would like to understand the effect of switching frequency and ripple in a dc dc converter design.

Please explain me or share me a good tutorial .

Dear balamanikandan
Hi
If you increase the switching frequency , your magnetic elements such as transformers or inductors be smaller , and it will be economical , but at higher frequencies , we will have some problems , e.g skin effect / proximity effect / increasing magnetic dissipation / influence of parasitic components ( capacitors and inductors ) ./ self transmitting/ and expensive switches , so , we can't increase the frequency very high .
But at higher frequencies the ripple voltage will be high frequency and you'll be able to control it with your desired criteria simply .
Best Wishes
