Database in 8051 possible?

Hello EDAians,
It is possible to create a good database program in the 8051 uc. What i mean is...small version of mysql type database program which can create,insert,delete,retrieve records (records saved in external media). If you guys know, plz let me know about it.

I read an article a while back about embedded database, and as i remember the answer to you question yes it is possible to create a good database on microcontroller units but with some restrictions.
 

Why do you want SQL based database?
You can create your own database with your own custom ADD/REMOVE/EDIT Functions.
