Data sheet for an IC with no part number...

:oops: It is a transparent body integrated circuit, photosensor/photodiode array that reads the CD/DVD reflection on an optical drive.
From what I could find, there is types with and without preamplifiers built in.

Removed from circuit to check if there were marking on the belly, but found only embossed 'PF' on the plastic.
It is 10 pin surface mount, about 4mm x 4mm. It is supposed to be called 'quadrant photo diode' ¿?

Looking for its data sheet or from similar devices... 8-O Magicians around please ?

It is healthy with no need to replace but canibalizing for other application. :oops: Shown removed, and another installed.

with some loupe or microscope, zooming on the circuit inside, you should see some markings that may identify the chip.
