Hi,

I'm designing a switch mode power supply to give 12V and 2.5A.
I would also like to add some communication feature to the power supply without adding extra output cables.
This is what I want to achieve:
A control device will talk to this SMPS sending encoded 0 - 5V digital signal through. Then the SMPS modulate that signal on the DC output bus. A high would be 12V and a low would be 10V.

Has anyone any idea how can I do this... to switch the DC output between 10V and 12V at say about 50kHz?

Looking forward to some brilliant ideas!
