Hi,

May I know how do I calculate the source resistance (Rs) of a DAC? I cannot find it in the datasheet. I am using the Maxim MAX531 DAC.

I need to find out the source resistance, Rs, for the following calculation.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Regards,
Eric

The Rs is from the source voltage. It depends on your applications. Which kind of source voltage are you used?

Hi,

I am supplying a single supply of +5V to the DAC and the output voltage signal from the DAC is from 0~2.048V. So how to calculate or measure the source resistance?

Thanks.
