I am trying to create a P*a*d*s ascii netlist of my Pr*ot*el D*X*P schematic. I seem to be having a bit of trouble finding this function in D*X*P. 99*se had a really nice selection of schematic netlist formats. What is the deal?

You need to download and install the output generators for D*X*P.
