How a Customer WLM might be created? What aspects should be taken into consideration? Why is needed?

How does WLM looks like?

It might be for correlation with his timing.
But WLM r used in the synthesis part where the net resistance and capacitance is calculated using the WLM table.
By using this RC value the delay of the net is calculated and is used for checking the timing in STA.

If u open the WLM table u will get the idea. As it will say for a specific fanout value what will be the number u need to multiply to the unit resistance and capacitance to get the resulted R and C values.

You may want to check this thread - https://www.edaboard.com/threads/242915/
When there is a gap between the timing on calculation of net delays multiple iterations are executed at the backend stage and amnd once a most optimum timing closed db is identified that same data is used in the front end synthesis to ensure maximum closure on timing.

To address this gap most of the EDA companies now have physical synthesis products.

If u open the WLM table u will get the idea.
I don't have it yet... Would you please provide one just for an example?
Please also add an example for Cap-Table.
Thank you!

Thank you!

cap-table is something that is technology dependent. I don't have any to share as well. Check with the library team t your end or connect with the foundry they should be clearly able to provide.
