Current trends in FPGA and PLD domain

Hi there,

Can anyone pls point me to the recent trends in FPGA & PLD domain? I have a interview coming up in an educational institute and wanted to cover the broad aspects of the domain for the same. You just need to mention the keywords/keyphrases for me to search further.
