current multiplier??

It seems that in a voltage multiplier, the capacitors are essentially little batteries in series that get charged and discharged rapidly to decrease current and increase voltage. Are there any circuits that have capacitors in parallel and get charged and discharged rapidly to decrease voltage and increase current?

current multiplier??

Switched capacitor buck converters are available e.g. from National, see **broken link removed**
