Hi all.

I've got 4 .csv excel files from a network analyser. Is there any way to import them into ADS without downloading a CSV to .mdf /.mdif or s2p converter? If not, is there any way to convert to s2p format without a converter?

Thanks!

The Touchstone file format is simple ASCII, so you can manually re-format text files to S2P.
Basically, you just need to see what frequency units you have, and what data format (real/imag or linear magnitude/phase or dB/phase) and then write the corresponding header line.

Here is the file format description:

But why did you export from the VNA in CSV format? Touchstone format (*.s2p) would have been easier and should be available for all VNAs.

The only VNA I have access to right now is so old it only uses floppy disks. There's no option for s2p unfortunately. Cheers for that!
