We all know that to measure the scattering parameter Sij we need to excite port-j and measure on port-i but with all the other ports matched. So if we have a 2 ports network, to measure the S11 you need to excite port 1 and measure on port 1 but with port 2 matched. To measure the S21 you need to excite port 1 and measure on port 2. How does CST studio realize the matching condition to measure the S-parameters?

What exactly is your question?

The ports in EM simulation are all matched to a certain reference impedance, at all times, including the excited port.
