Cst microwave studio suite 2011

pls help..!!!!!

am doing a project of designing & simulating ultrawideband bandpass filter.. am doing this in cst studio suite... i constructed dat design in CST MICROWAVE STUDIO... bt while simulating, i didn get any output except d graph of an excitation signal..it is displaying an error that "unable to generate mesh. mesh is too dense or calculation domain may have zero volume". i don know y.. wat may b d reason?? bt nw i hav d doubt whether it s to be simulated in cst microwave or electromagnetic studio????

pls include the simulation steps of a uwb bandpass filter in your reply!!!!!!!!!

If its filters den its preferable to simulate in ADS or IE3d. These methods use MOM method which is considered good for planar structures. As per your error, i havent used CST in long time so i cannot comment, but since ur error is clear to do something with meshing, try meshing your structure first, see how the meshing is coming and den simulate..!!

check your port, maybe something error with your port..but yaa..its better to you design it in ADS..

your port or your dimensions..can you tell how many mesh cells you have? see that at the bottom corner at your right
