CST Microwave studio GUI and simulation problem

CST microwave studio works fine in windows 7 64 bit but doesnot simulate. No Idea! Why?
So, I installed the same in windows xp 32 bit sp2. Now problem is simulates but it faces GUI problems like while drawing BRICK when I click on any menu item goes invisible above the drawing plane which I am unable to access and when click on drawing for rectangular block the preview doesnot appear for each point and line but the same appears after all points get connected.
Is there any settings that I am missing? or anything else?
Please help.
