Forgive my ignorance but I have studied this Crocodile Simulation Software and I can't seem to get any of my circuits to SIMULATE.
Why are there NO VCC or VSS on the IC chips ??? (i.e. 4011, 4017, etc)

I am attaching a simple 10 LED "Chaser" circuit and when I close the switch, I get voltages but the LED's do NOT light up at all, let alone "Chase".

Is there some "Trick" to these chips or this Software?
I did all the Tutorials and been racking my brain for 3 days now and I am very frustrated.

Is there a better software out there to simulate my circuits?

I could sure use some help from someone to explain to me HOW I can get these chips to function without any VCC or VSS pin connections?

No vcc and vss connection to IC as it is hidden and the voltage is known and provided by the sotware. You can try multisim

By the way, is your NE555 giving pulse?
