Hi

Can anybody tell if we can create symbol out of the correct Layout figure
and if it is possible, can anybody tell how it can be ?

You can create your own new symbols or request/download from the chip vendors website!

Why do you want to create symbol from layout?

you mean you want to do post layout simulation? you should first do drc, extract, lvs, then post layout simulation. read documentation on cadence heirarchy editor to simulate the extracted view. perhaps this link is useful: **broken link removed**
