I am trying to create a circular SMT pad in allegro.
The pad is not part of an IC pin or any component pin. I need the pad itself as a symbol.
I tired editing existing pads in padstack. When I edit the pad in padstack, I see what I want. But when I try to select it when making a symbol, the pad is just round symbol. It doesn't show up as a pad with annular ring.
What am I doing wrong.
Is there an easier way?
