Creating models in VHDL-AMS

I want to create models(inverters,Flip Flops etc) which could then be used different circuits.Can System Vision of Mentor Graphics be used to write and verify the code written for VHDL-AMS?

all the examples you said are digital so why don't you use VHDL with fpga advantage also from mentor which is great in digital
