spi ethernet

I am looking for any replacement for Am186ED + CS8900. (Because Am186ED stay obsolute)

Solution is preferable SIMPLE and LOW COST SoC with:
Ethernet 10Base-T (also 10/100Base-T is ok),
2 normal hardware UARTS (RS232),
2 x I2C (it is sufficient to emulate it by software)
1 x SPI (Sync full duplex serial controller, also sufficient software emulation, but preferable hardware)
JTAG port, for Flash ROM programming, not bad for Debugging.
same IO pins for simple keypad, 2x16 LCD, LEDs e.t.c

Thanks.

what about embeded ethernet toolkit from atmel ??

low cost cpu spi

Really I need more powerfull (in MIPS and RAM size) device, than AVRs or other
8 bit CPU and need many TCP/IP protocol support (WWW,Telnet,SNMP,SLIP, RIP V2,TFTP ...)

dual ethernet soc

there exist simm like modules from m*t*r*la ... unfortunatelly i do not know the p/n

have a fun

universal jtag

What you are looking for is a motorola 360 for 68000 type uc or motorola 860 for ppc type uc. Both have a risc coprocessor that adds spi, ethernet, serial,... type functions.

mac loopback in mcf5282

Motorola coldfire 5272, 5307 .....
Mabe can do this.

jtag cpu - spi

Maybe it's not exactly what are you looking for , but worth take a look.

If for them it's not obsolete and still able to deliver:

and many other involved in Am186 with ethernet support. Look inside huge list:

Thanks.

This is one of real candidate.
Other real candidate is ARM based CIRRUS LOGIC CS89712.

This has very limited ram (vithout external) and do not SNMP protocol stack.
We always using other Scenix (UBICOM) SX28 and SX52 microcontrollers, up to 5 in one device :)

Not all requred features.

External ethernet and no SNMP stack.

Alchemy Au1000TM CPU is powerfull, but may be expeensive.

This is like, that we using in self made board.

This is link of complete controllers and boards.

... with production available for testing in the third quarter 2002,
but I need it today :(

jtag cpu spi

Samsung's netmcu is the best replacement for your AMD
s3c4510b netmcu includes components what you need except spi
but it is easy to get via a serial port

dos zfx86 i2c

Hi Big&china,

I'm very interested in Samsung devices (like S3F441FX, a ARM7TDMI all in flash), but where to buy it? I can't find a place in the World to buy small quantities.

ATMEL is going to deliver the ARM920T core-based chip Thunder with a Ethernet MAC 10/100 interface, 4 usart, SPI port and lots of I/O.

Thanks, interesting chip, but this chip:
1) Have only 1 UART
2) Do not have any high speed serial interface, as HDLC or hardware SPI
3) Only available commercial temperature range (0 to +70C)

Now as Samsing S3C4530 replacement, I choosed Netsilicon NS9360 chip.
Netsilocon promising long manufacturing life for this chip ....

the zilog ez80f91 module should be a good candidate ?

Please take take a look at the following.
