Hello, everyone

As I studied "Switch loaded coupled line" presented at ISSCC 2025, I encountered a couple of questions.

1. I am curious about how the switch-loaded coupled line can be modeled as two parallel connected lines.

1-1. I am also curious as to why the impedance of the switch decreases by a factor of 1/k^2.

2. I have attempted to apply the even-odd mode analysis from Pozar’s book to derive the Y-parameters for the switch-loaded coupled line, but unfortunately, I was unable to derive the necessary formulas. Is there any method to get the above Y parameter?
