Some manufacturers offer PDK with p-cells that we could just enter W, L and finger to complete a MOST layout. But when the P-cells are not supplied, could we make it ourselves? That could simple the layout job much.
Thanks.

Yes,this is pissible.
you search in cadence cdsdoc there are examples.

there are 2 ways to make pcell: graphical and coding.

graphical can be used for simple pcells which are already provided in pdk.
coding requires programming skill and knowing of SKILL language but can be used to create more complex pcells. If you have never created any pcell, you have very long path to be able to create a pcell using coding.

Yet there are at least two ways to code a pcell.
It can be created by SKILL function pcDefinePCell. By this method you can create arbitrary complex pcell.
Another way is to use technology file. May foundry provides they pcell in this way. The cellview created by technology file usually has the name "symbolic".

Cadence provides the SKILL language user manual. By writting the SKILL program, you can generate your own P-cells

Thanks to u all.
Well, I have try virtuso tools.
There is Pcell making function indeed.
But the problem is how to make the parameters..
Maybe writing languages is more directly.
Just some new things to learn...
But I think if the Pcell making tool works, things would be much simpler.
