Coplanar waveguide characteristic impedance

I`m trying to extract the characteristic impedance and attenuation of a coplanar waveguide using the scattering parameters, with ADS.

I`ve made a lot of attempts, but i think that i`m missing some details.
The formula that i`m using are correct, because I`m using a textbook also, but I think that there is some problem concerning the complex nature of scattering parameters.

Formula are something like this :

e(-gamma*l) = (1-S(1,1)^2+ ...)^(-1)

Z = sqrt(Z0^2 * (1+S(1,1)^2...))
