my panasonic servo drive needs 5000 pulses for one revolution. how to calculate to frequency (what frequency i must give to produce 5000 pulses per second

Frequency is a result ...your encoder , coupled to your servo drive, gives 5000 pulses per tour , isn't it ?
one revolution per second => 5000Hz
when your servo drive turn at 60 tr/min, it delivers 5000Hz on his encoder ?
