scr simple circuit

Hi all,

Long time ago I have done a simple circuit using one SCR, one diode, one cap, and some resistors to control the power on a resistive load (using TIC126). Now I need it again but I'm unable to find it, (I have already search the web, but nothing found).
Some one have suggestions?

Hi NeuralC

I had this map.[it's realy simple but work!]
I made it for doing "auto on" for my rooms light when natural light decrease .
I hope you can get some idea from this map.

Neuralc,

Is it AC or DC and what voltage and power?
