Hi all

I am using breadboard to make necessary connections to my device. Here
I am in need of a switching element which functions like a DPDT switch,
and which can be controlled from LabView. Can anyone suggest how
and where can I get this element ?

I was searching for it online and found this
"Ethernet Relay with ME Firmware & DPDT Relays" at controlanything.com/Relay/Device/NEADR41DPDTPROXR

This looks very costly. I would like to take the advice of people here.

Please advise me on this.

Thanks

Hi,

If you find a relay (or FET transistor) that can be controlled with a TTL digital signal, you can use a USB-6501 to to provide the control signals. This device uses the NI-DAQmx driver which includes a set of NI LabVIEW drivers and can be used with the DAQ Assistant Express VI.

you could use Labview to control your printer port, then use a port line to signal your switch driver.
