Connection problem in interfacing with ULN2003a

Hi,

Could somebody please look at the enclosed picture and see if they can explain the connection problem for me please.

your relay and uln2003 com is +24v supply and your +24v and pic+5v supply ground you have to make them common for your circuit working.

Both PIC and ULN should have the same ground. it does not matter whether gnd is of 5v or 24v.

Thank you gentlemen, I sort of guessed that this might be the case, the fact that isis pro and other apps hide the ground does not
really help matters...
