what are the various components that i need while implementing it on hardware?
how could i see that data is transferred to host or nnot?

Try to contruct a PicKit2 colne or Junebug which are basically programmers for PIC devices which are also associated with 18F2550 with USB connections. Good luck.

Thank u for ur help.
But I want to know how can i connect my socket to my PC so that i can see data transfer as we do in our pen drives.
Do i need some special softwares and what are the settings that are done in PC to get data from PIC18F2550 which i hav programmed?
