i have connected my p89c51rd2fn micro controller kit to PC it is being detected but having a problem while dumping the program into it.
i use flash magic for dumping process.
the problem is
"security bit 1 is set to 1"
can any one help to solve this problem please?

check your baud rate there may be mis-match.

security bit 1 is set is the error.
i have checked the software and that bit is not set.
is there is any problem with hardware?

micro cotroller is being detected so there is no problem with the baud rate.the problem arises while dumping a program.
and also if we use the P89c51rd2bn ic then the program is dumping with out any error message.
the only problem is with the P89c51rd2FN series micro controller.

As far as i know there is some problem with the FN series, but i could not make out the problem.... the entire batch of controllers about 200 of them same problem...
did nothing but to replace the entire set.

go to options and advanced or some tab where this is present and disable the security bit and try it.

thanks for the reply.
ill try it.
one more problem we are facing is with the pin 30 voltage level.
the voltage level required for that pin is 1.6 or 1.7.
we are getting that voltage level for some time and after it is showing the voltage level of 5.
is it is the problem of hardware?
we cant find any solution for it.
