connecting 8 telephone line togatter !

hi all ,

my question is not really that !

i am making a project which the device should connect to 8 different tel lines ,
eache tel lines first connectes to 4 diodes ( making tel line DC ) and then it is connected to the device inputs ,

in the device , GROUND(-) of all 8 lines connects togatter , does it make problem or no ?
