Iam little confused about career paths available for Electronics
my information that there are main paths like (Embedded , Consumer Electronics , IC design )
but also i think that Embedded (not electronics - mainly depend on software developing and testing ) and IC design has a lot of careers (Analog designer , Digital Designer , Verification , Layout ) but also there are people work in fabrication (Foundries ) for Consumer Electronics I don't know what paths available (may be PCB design !! )
So can you provide me a clear explanation for available career paths for every track and may be skills needed ? Also chances available for Academic and research ? any articles available
