I ran the IC5141USR5 update on my installation, but I'm running into problems at the configuration phase. Here are the dialogs:
Prepare libraries for AMS Designer
1) Add an IUS installation directory to path
2) Quit
#? 1
Enter path (as returned by ncroot command):
if I enter "ncroot" in another terminal it says command not found, if I enter the top of the
cadence installation (/home/cad/IC5141) then it says:
Enter path (as returned by ncroot command): /home/cad/IC5141
Error: Cannot find "ncvlog" in hierarchy rooted at "/home/cad/IC5141".
Entered path will be ignored.
Press Enter to continue ...
So I looked for "ncvlog" and found it
in: /home/cad/IC5141/tools.lnx86/verilogIn/bin/ncvlog
so next time I answer with /home/cad/IC5141/tools.lnx86/verilogIn/bin
and still gives me the same response:
Enter path (as returned by ncroot
command): /home/cad/IC5141/tools.lnx86/dfII/verilogIn/bin/
Error: Cannot find "ncvlog" in hierarchy rooted at "/home/cad/IC5141/tools.lnx86/dfII/verilogIn/bin/".
Entered path will be ignored.
Press Enter to continue ...
which is not true, since ncvlog is right in the bin folder.
Any ideas? Thanks.
