Hi All:

I have a OnQ home audio system with the audio distribution module AU1002 pictured below and have pretty much narrowed down the problem to one bad component. Problem is, I have no schematic and haven't been able to identify the component despite the markings "MTRC Z83" being on it. Another working unit has the same chip with wording "MYAB Z83" on it.

Pictures below, as you can see, it is a 8 pin IC.

Any idea what this IC is or where I could find it?

Thanks!

I suggest you contact the manufactorer. They might be willing to help you with this. Further more, it seems that the component number is z83, the letters before that are what i believe manufactorers code.( brands)
