compare proakis and haykin for digital communication.??

Can you please compare the digital communication books of john proakis and haykin....
I need to know which one is better. Can you compare their writing style of the two authors??
I want to know about these two only,as my university syllabus is attached to the books of these two...

the book by an indian author sanjay sharma ( communication systems ) is pretty good

The book by Haykin is quite elementary and suited for undergraduate. That by Proakis is a graduate one and things are presented with less depth.
