Compactflash power consumption

Again with questions about compactflash, i hope not to be boring

I have finished a datalogger and i have a problem, the system will be installed in zones of difficult access and there is no electricity, the consumption of the CF is very high and i have to use a car battery for long duration. I think CF not use autosleep mode and because of this i try to use some commands (from CF espec 2.1) like IDLE (97h), IDLE INMEDIATE (95h), SET SLEEP MODE (99h) and STANDBY(96h), but consumption is always the same. Sombody can help me.
