communication protocol for range around 200m

i need to take signals from different slave mcu units to a central controller at about 200m apart. am presently using 2 wire rs 485 . can anyone suggest a low cost alternative soln. i checked for can but its not making any difference.

Which controller are u using? It is possible using CAN.

Cheaper than installing cables. The Digi modules can work as a mesh network and the range can be adjusted based on your antenna choice.
