Communication between PIC16F84A and PIC18F452 without SPI

Hi,
I want to do communication between PIC16F84A & PIC 18F452. But PIC16F84A does not have SPI module.
Is there any technique to do this communication Without SPI of the PIC16F84A.

Appreciate your suggetions.

Ditch the 16f84!
It is a very old and expensive micro. It was the first pic micro to feature flash program memory nearly 20 years ago.
There are lots of pic variants that are cheaper and have better peripheral support than the 16f84.
Try out the Pic16f88x series.
